Ticketing, Event Information and Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS.
Disco sessions
Friday 1 November 2024 (Term 4, Week 3)
4:30-5:30pm – Kindy to Year 2
5:45-6:30pm – Low sensory session (less lights, quieter music)
6:45-8:00pm – Years 3-6
The disco will be held inside the School Hall. Music is provided by DJ Lil Ravers. There will be no strobe lights and all songs are kid friendly!
Tickets
Tickets are $10 per child and includes one free scoop of gelato (redeemable on the day).
Tickets will go on sale on at 2:45pm Wednesday 18 September 2024 in person underneath the Cola.
Tickets can also be purchased at the following times:
Friday 20 September – 8:30-9:00am and 2:45-3:15pm
Monday 23 September – 8:30-9:00am
Wednesday 25 September – 2:45-3:15pm

Each session is limited to 150 tickets. No tickets will be for sale at the event, so please purchase early to avoid missing out.
Please note that parents and carers cannot accompany children into the disco. There will be adult supervision inside the disco to support kids. Parents and carers must stay on school grounds and be available to pick up their child at the end of the disco session, or earlier if required (we will ring you if your child wants to leave early).
Entry information
Stanley Street gate will open at 4:00pm and close at 8:15pm after the last disco session finishes. All other school gates will be closed, so please enter from Stanley Street.
Food, drink and activities
Food trucks will be available to purchase meals from.
To fundraise for the P&C, we will be holding a number of stalls to raise funds for our much needed playground equipment. Please support us by purchasing tokens to use on the day (cash or card accepted) to enjoy gelato, bubble tea, photobooth, light sticks, face painting and glow tattoos.
Please note that this is an alcohol-free event, as per Department of Education regulations. Any persons deemed to be intoxicated and/or acting in an offensive, threatening or abusive manner, will be required to leave the event immediately.
Child supervision
All children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. At all times, we request that children are supervised by a responsible adult.
Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the event being a fundraiser with fixed costs, we are unable to offer refunds so please purchase carefully. We appreciate your understanding.
In the event of extreme adverse weather, we reserve the right to postpone the event. All patrons will be notified immediately in this event.
Entry acceptance
Entry is at your own risk and we reserve the right to refuse entry.
We shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damages sustained entering or within the event – to the extent allowed by the law. Adults must be responsible for the children in their care.
This is a closed event for the Burwood Public School school community only.
General safety and comfort
A First Aid Kit will be available at the canteen if required.
No animals will be permitted to the event, except for support animals e.g. guide dog.
The event is SMOKE & VAPE FREE.
You may wish to bring a picnic rug to sit on the oval while enjoying some food and drinks and waiting for your child’s disco session to finish.
General housekeeping
Toilets for adults will be available outside the school hall.
It would be appreciated if you could take home any rubbish you bring with you.
Please respect the school’s neighbours by leaving as quietly as possible at the end of the event.
