PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS.
Movie information
Friday 25 August 2023 (Term 3, Week 6). The movie will commence at 6:00pm.
As voted by you, the movie showing will be Sing 2. Please note this film is rated PG.
Cost
Single ticket – $20 ($15 early bird)
Group ticket (4) – $70 ($50 early bird)
Food and drink combo – $15 (halal beef sausage sizzle, popcorn, lolly bag and hot/cold drink)
Tickets and seating
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 28 June 2023 via this link.
A restricted number of tickets will be available to ensure there is enough seating on the oval. All tickets are general admission (no reserved seating) and are valid for any adult or child aged 3-17 years. Children under 3 years are FREE. No tickets will be for sale at the event.
The movie will be screened on the school oval. Picnic rugs and floor seats only please (no camping chairs or any chairs that obstruct others viewing). Wheelchairs are permitted but we kindly ask that you sit towards the back or sides of the oval. Pram parking will be available.
Entry information
Stanley Street gate will open at 4:00pm and close at 6:00pm when the movie commences. All gates will be closed during the movie.
Stanley Street gate will reopen from 8:00pm to 8:30pm for patrons to exit the school.
A QR coded ticket from Trybooking is required and will be scanned on entry for admission. Print your ticket or ensure you have your tickets available on your smartphone.
If you have purchased a food and drink combo, please collect your coupons at the gates upon entry.
Food and Drink
There will be NO food or drink for sale on the night, so please pre-purchase your food and drink combos to avoid missing out.
Food and drink combo collection will be available from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
You will need to exchange your coupon for the food or drink item at different stalls e.g. drink coupon at the coffee cart, sausage sizzle at the bbq, popcorn and lolly bag at the canteen. There may be queues so please allow sufficient time to collect your food and drink before the movie starts.
BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted – NO GLASS.
Please note that this is an alcohol-free event, as per Department of Education regulations. Any persons deemed to be intoxicated and/or acting in an offensive, threatening or abusive manner, will be required to leave the event immediately.
Child supervision
All children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. At all times, we request that children are supervised by a responsible adult.
Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the event being a fundraiser with fixed costs, we are unable to offer refunds so please purchase carefully. We appreciate your understanding.
The weather forecast will be reviewed on the morning of Friday 25 August 2023, and a decision to postpone may be made if the weather means our event cannot go ahead as planned e.g. rain or strong winds.
If we are unable to show the movie, we will postpone the event to a future date with the same time and location. All tickets will be honoured for the new date. We will endeavour to find a date as soon as possible, however please note that this is dependent on the screen hire availability.

Entry acceptance
Entry is at your own risk and we reserve the right to refuse entry.
We shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damages sustained entering or within the event – to the extent allowed by the law. Adults must be responsible for the children in their care.
This is a closed event for the Burwood Public School school community only.
General safety and comfort
A First Aid Kit will be available at the canteen if required.
No animals will be permitted to the event, except for support animals e.g. guide dog.
The event is SMOKE & VAPE FREE.
Please wear warm layers and bring blankets to keep warm. Cushions are recommended if sitting on the ground will be an issue.
General housekeeping
Toilets for adults will be available inside the school hall.
It would be appreciated if you could take home any rubbish you bring with you.
Please respect the school’s neighbours by leaving as quietly as possible at the end of the event.
